Normally, here at Mizner Residential Realty, we like to highlight events going on in the Delray Beach area, or at least in Palm Beach County, but there are some events that are so well worth checking out that a little extra drive is definitely going to reap a reward. Starting in just a few days, Miami Spice is a two-month ongoing event featuring some of the best of Miami cuisine. From August 1 until September 30, restaurants will be offering three-course meals (lunch and dinner) from world-renowned chefs, at reduced prices: $23 and $39 respectively.

Come with your family and friends, to enjoy a wonderful 4th of July experience that lasts all day long, there is plenty  of fun activities for all ages. Downtown Delray Beach has put a wonderful agenda for everyone to enjoy the Independence Day. 

Agenda:

  • 8:00am – 12 Noon – Sandcastle Contest on the beach, just south of Atlantic
  • 4:00pm – Flag Raising Ceremony (Atlantic Avenue & Gleason Street)
  • 4:00pm – 5:00pm – MainStreet Dreamers
  • 5:30pm – Burger Fi Custard Eating Contest for kids
  • 6pm – Burger Fi Burger Eating Contest for adults
  • 6:30pm – 8:00pm – Live music with MainStreet Dreamers & The Holidazed
  • 8:15pm – Daya will perform her hit singles (including "Hide Away") & count down to the fireworks finale!
  • 9:00pm – FIREWORKS show

Max's Harvest Chef vs Chef Delray Beach   If you’re looking for a way to maximize your dining out experience over the next several weeks, check out the now-annual Chef vs. Chef competition, hosted by Max’s Harvest in Delray Beach. All of us at Mizner Residential Realty are thrilled to see that last year’s event was such a great success that it will now be annual: a sixteen-week, throw-down style culinary bracket battle featuring 16 top local chefs, all competing for bragging rights and to benefit the Milagro Center.   The competition, which was originally inspired by the Esquire Network show Knife Fights, kicked off earlier this month with a battle between Bruce Feingold of Dada and Jordan Lerman from Jardin on June 22nd.
