4th of July

Delray Beach is closing off the downtown to vehicular traffic for the Annual 4th of July festival.  East Atlantic Avenue will be shut down so parking west of the Intracoastal Bridge would be a sensible choice so you can leave when you are ready.  The downtown trolley will be in service to provide transportation to and from the Intracoastal Bridge.  The downtown Trolley is free for anyone in Delray Beach.  Please park west of the Intracoastal Bridge.  You can use the Downtown Trolley to get to the Intracoastal Bridge.  The streets will be closing at 1:30 PM for the event and will reopen at 11 PM.  The event is held on East Atlantic from the Intracoastal Bridge east to A1A from Thomas to Miramar.  

As in past events there will be outdoor beer

Food Hall

Groundbreaking for Florida's largest food hall is scheduled for Summer of 2019.  The 4-story building will be built on the corner of SE 3rd Ave and SE 1st St, which is just off Atlantic Avenue in the heart of downtown Delray Beach.  The site of the food hall is centrally located in the Village by the Sea with the beach just a half mile to the East and I-95 a mile to the West.  The architecturally significant mixed-use building plan will be 150,000 TSF and will include multiple outdoor spaces at ground level and mezzanine.  The food hall will be roughly 60,000 SF with 35 individually selected best-in-class chefs, operators, independent, and artisanal vendors offering local, authentic, and healthy food options.  The new food hall will have a

Dine Out Downtown DelraytIt's not too early to start thinking about Dine Out Downtown Delray restaurant week which is Thursday, August 1 - Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  Over 35 restaurants, cafes, and juice bars along Atlantic Avenue, Pineapple Grove and the SofA district will participate in this years event.  New additions are being added to line-up.  The Downtown Development Authority organizes this annual event to raise awareness and proceeds for "Not One Hungry Homeless Student Delray Beach" initiative which ensures that kids in our community receive the nourishment they need to reach their full potential.
