Mizner Residential Realty's Delray Beach Real Estate Blog

Here at Mizner Residential Realty, one of the most exciting new construction projects we’re keeping an eye on is the new condominium going up at 327 Royal Palm, in Boca Raton. The project, featured in The Palm Beach Post, The Miami Herald, and South Florida Business Journal alike hasn’t even been completed—and yet it’s already the talk of the town. While condominium living in South Florida has always been a venue for amenities, this new project takes that premise to the next level, offering creature comforts ranging from incredibly spacious floor plans to on-site amenities to satisfy anyone.

Everyone at Mizner Residential Realty loves the festival—and it’s not surprising, considering how much there is to take in. Food and wine, live music, learning opportunities, and an excuse to party it up make the festival one of the major social events of the year for residents and visitors alike.

Now in its 17th year, the Delray Beach Garlic Festival boasts amazing and varied selections in “gourmet alley,” from flaming garlic shrimp scampi and garlic BBQ pork to interesting and daring selections like garlic ice cream and garlic funnel cake. Nori-Boca-Raton-Ramen

Here at Mizner Residential Realty, we love to discover great new Asian restaurant spots, and we’re always on the lookout for a good deal on some great food. While Delray Beach is considered the epicenter for great meals out in Palm Beach County, Boca Raton has a lot of gems as well; one of our favorites is Nori Thai.

Located on Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton East of Federal Highway, Nori Thai takes its name not from the Japanese word for seaweed wrappers, but from “Noodles” and “Rice,” reflecting the major staple foods of several Asian countries. While there are dozens of Asian restaurants out there, Nori stands apart for their commitment to fresh, exciting cuisine; the company’s site says, “We were raised with freshly cooked meal with full

Now that the holidays are behind us, it can seem like a letdown to return to day-to-day life. At Mizner Residential Realty we think the best way to keep from getting down in the dumps is to keep the party going, and the City of Delray Beach is giving plenty of opportunities to do just that, with a great event coming up: Delray Beach Fashion Week.

Taking place from January 16 through the 23rd, Fashion Week will showcase local, national, and international designs found at the city’s great boutiques, along with vendors, art expositions and more. The week-long event is sponsored largely by the Downtown Development Authority, with additional sponsorships available to individuals and businesses interested in promoting the area’s charms. Mini events will

The New Vegan Delray Beach Beet Burger The New Vegan Delray Beach Green Soup

At Mizner Residential Realty, we love checking out restaurants in Delray Beach; as the city becomes more and more popular as a mecca for food lovers, there are more and more options to check out. While many love a pile of satisfying, meaty tacos or a plate of wings, The New Vegan, a few blocks away from Atlantic Avenue, is a great place to eat—without meat, and without dairy or other animal products as well.  Healthy food for the body is what you can find at The New Vegan in Delray Beach.

In order for a vegan restaurant in particular to propel itself into success, the flavors have to be there; The New Vegan does an amazing job, transforming natural ingredients into tasty, beautiful dishes that satisfy. According to its website, the restaurant’s

Art Basel

One of the great things about living in South Florida is the variety of events that go on throughout the year. Art Basel Miami is one of the events that we at Mizner Residential Realty look forward to the most every year; the art festival draws thousands to Miami Beach, from designers and tech savants to celebrities, musicians and the hottest up and coming artists from around the world. This year, the festival takes place from December 3rd through the 6th, with events, parties and showings throughout the city.

Art Basel first came to Miami in 2002, and marks the winter reunion of the international art world. The festival is divided up into nine sectors: Galleries, Nova, Positions, Edition, Kabinett, Public, Survey, Film, and Magazines. This year,

One of the best things about living in Delray Beach is the proximity of tons of great, independently owned businesses and shops; standing right alongside major chain stores and national boutiques, Delray Beach’s local businesses offer a wide array of unique products, services and goods that can help you to find something special for every person on your holiday gift-giving list. All of us at Mizner Residential Realty have our favorite shops and local gems—whether it’s the best fish market, or the most unique art and jewelry in the county. This holiday season, consider shopping local and supporting the community’s businesses with your gift purchases; it’s a gift that keeps giving. Here are some of our go-to businesses in the city.

With the holiday season already in full swing, and Thanksgiving just a week away, many of us—especially here at Mizner Residential Realty—are full of ambitious goals to give back to the community in some way. If you’re looking for a great place to volunteer, one of our favorite institutions is The Soup Kitchen in Boynton Beach. The non-profit has run for more than thirty years, serving those less fortunate in South Florida, and they are always looking for volunteers to help in their humble mission.

In 1983, three women—Gwen James, Veronica Payne, and Bee Brown—had a vision of feeding the local poor, and began their work with a donated van, which they used to bring sandwiches and soup to individuals and families struggling in poverty. Quickly

We’ve mentioned the weekly Delray Beach Green Market before—namely the fact that the market was open during the summer, something that the City of Delray Beach hoped would encourage year-round residents to mingle and enjoy the downtown area. But now that season is getting started, the real, true Green Market is back and bigger than ever. One of our favorite things to do on the weekends at Mizner Residential Realty has always been to check out this weekly local event, and now there are more reasons than ever for you to look into it, too.

The Delray Beach Green Market opens on Saturday, October 31, 2015 for its 20th season, situated at Old School Square Park in the heart of the downtown area. Providing locals and visitors alike with a reason to hang out,

While everyone at Mizner Residential Realty loves Delray Beach, and we can’t get enough of the great restaurants and bars especially along Atlantic Avenue, Boca Raton has some great gems as well (we love Boca Raton Real Estate too). One of these great places to eat is SushiGo—a truly exceptional sushi place nestled on Federal Highway in an unassuming shopping center just West of Mizner Park.  With a combination of innovative sushi and sashimi, a comfortable setting, and the highest caliber of food, make a stop at SushiGo if you love fresh sushi and local business.

The owner of SushiGo, Chef Joe, has been making sushi for over 20 years; in fact, Chef Joe began making sushi long before his professional career—at the age of six! Before
