Excitement is already in the air for the next Delray Affair, the biggest street party in Delray Beach. This years event marks the 58th year for the largest arts & crafts festival in the southeast United States.  Save the dates on your calendar - the rescheduled dates are Saturday, October 16th & Sunday, October 17th.  More information to follow.  Admission to Delray Affair is free and parking is available at the Delray Beach City Hall parking lot and both city parking garages for $5.  You can visit the exciting street party that spans 12 city blocks from the intracoastal to NW 2nd Ave.  The Delray Affair is an extravaganza that showcases artists and artisans from across the country and around the world.  There will be up to 600 vendors featuring hand-crafted arts & crafts, fine art, and amazing street food vendors.  Delray Affair was host to artists from 30 states and 12 countries last year.  Click Delray Affair for more information on this years event.

In 2017, Pat Kaufman was commissioned as the Delray Affair Commemorative Poster Artist for years 2018, 2019 and 2020.  Pat is a long time Delray Beach resident and is known for bright and tropical Key West style paintings. A preview of this years commemorative poster, Sundy House, is shown below.  Posters from the previous two years follow the 2020 preview.  The Delray Affair will be Pat's only show this season so make sure you stop by her booth.

The Sundy House is of historical importance and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The Sundy House, a Victorian, Queen Anne style house, was built in 1902 by John Sundy - the first Mayor of Delray Beach.  The Sundy family lived in the home for nearly 80 years.  Stroll over to 106 S Swinton Avenue while you are at Delray Affair to see it for yourself - it's very walkable from the downtown show.  If you want to learn more about Sundy House restaurant, boutique inn or the botanical garden which has streams, waterfalls and a naturalized, freshwater living pond known as a "Cenote" click  You can also book a room or make brunch or dinner reservations from the website.

Downtown will soon be abuzz with Delray Affair hustle and bustle all the way from NW 2nd to the intracoastal waterway.  Locals and visitors alike flock to the downtown area to see all of the fine wares as well as attend special events that are scheduled throughout the weekend.  There is always an eclectic mixture of fine art, crafts, and unique products from across the country and around the world. If you just can't get enough of our beautiful Village by the Sea at the Delray Affair, stay for Delray Affair After Dark to keep the party going.  After the tents close for the day and the sun sets in the horizon, the streets remain blocked off for visitors to enjoy the beautiful Village by the Sea without traffic concerns.  Delray Affair After Dark gives pedestrians the opportunity to enjoy fantastic dining, entertainment, shopping and socializing in the downtown area free of vehicular traffic.
