Lori Keroack wrote: “The Rectory” is located at 14 South Swinton Avenue and was built in 1903 as part of The United Methodist Church. The church was destroyed on September 14, 1928, leaving only the parsonage. "The Forgotten Storm" or "The Great Hurricane of 1928" destroyed many lives and homes in Delray Beach.
