Happy Halloween

Delray Beach Halloween Festivities has been expanded to include more merchants this year.  Please take note of new locations for some events / meeting locations.  The 57th annual event is brought to you by the Downtown Development Authority and the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.

  • Trick-or-Treating on the Avenue will take place from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.  Merchants from NW 5th Ave in The Set all the way down to the Intracoastal Bridge will be handing out goodies for the trick-or-treaters.  Trick-or-Treating on the Avenue is brought to you by the Downtown Development Authority and the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.
  • The Halloween Parade starts at 1:00 PM.  The 57th Annual Halloween Parade is brought to you by the Rotary Club.  Please note that there is a new starting and ending location this year.  The new meeting location is at the water fountain in Veterans Park.  The parade will end at the Tennis Center so you'll be ready to head right in to the Kidsfest.
  • Kidsfest of Delray Beach is open from 1:00 PM - 4 PM.  The Kidsfest is brought to you by the City of Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Department and is held at  Delray Beach Tennis Center located at 201 W Atlantic Ave. There will be food, vendors, arts and crafts, entertainment and free ice cream provided by the Rotary Club.

This event is wildly popular with families every year.  Many parents join in on the fun by creating a family costume theme for everyone.  It's a great way and great day to let loose and have some fun with the kids.

The 8th Annual Witch Ride for Charity has 300 registered participants this year and is bigger and better than ever.  Look for the witches in their best witch garb and decked out bicycles throughout town.  The witch ride begins at City Hall at 8 AM and includes historic downtown Delray, Atlantic Avenue, A1A and ends at the Delray Beach Green Market at Old School Square at approximately 10 AM.  At the grand finale of the witches flight, the witches will be judged for "Best Decorated Bike, "Best Witch Costume and "Best Witch Cackle".   Don't miss this event - it's a wicked good time.
