The 28th annual Delray Beach Open (DBO) by is a ten day tennis extravaganza beginning Friday, February 14th, 2020.  The event is televised nationally and internationally and hosts over 60,000 spectators each year.  Corporate events, amateur tennis tournaments, live music performances and social happenings make this annual event truly memorable for tennis fans.  Tickets are on sale now.  Reserved seating starts at $42 for day or evening sessions.  BOGO Senior Day discounts are available for box and reserved seats for sessions 2, 5 and 9 - use promotional code SENIOR if you are 55 years older or older. A 30% group discount applies to groups of 15 or more.  Donate 8 non-perishable food items to the Food Drive on Monday, February 17th and receive 1 FREE seat per person for the day session.  Children ages 1-2 are free.  Children ages 3-12 receive 50% discount off stadium court reserved seats.      

This year, Delray Beach's own tennis teen sensation, Coco Gauff, will play in the Exhibition Under the Stars Event.  Coco's opponent is Estela Perez-Somarriba and the match will be held on Saturday, February 15th @ 7 PM.  Estela is the current NCAA singles champion from the University of Miami and is ranked #842 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).  Coco is currently ranked #51 by the WTA.  Opening night festivities include two (2) ATP Champions Tour matches.  The first match is Tommy Haas vs Jesse Levine at 6 pm followed by David Ferrer vs James Blake at 8 pm.  ATP Champions are players who have been ranked World No. 1, a Grand Slam Singles Finalist, a Singles Player on a victorious Davis Cup Team or received a Wildcard.  The ATP Champions Tour format is Team Europe vs Team World and has a total of six (6) singles matches and two (2) doubles matches during the event.  The first team to win five (5) matches will be the winner of the ATP Champions Tour Event.  Team Europe tennis legends include Tommy Haas, David Ferrer, Marcos Baghdatis, and Mikael Pernfors.  Team World tennis legends include James Blake, Jesse Levine, Vince Spadea, and Johan Kriek.  In recent news Juan Martin Del Potro withdrew from DBO and Ernests Gulbis got a DBO wildcard.  Click schedule to see the complete line-up.  Amateur tennis events are also held on the grounds of the Delray Beach Tennis Center during DBO.  Amateur tennis events include Legends Clinic, ATP Doubles Pro-Am, Tennis on Campus Collegiate Challenge, Mega-Mixer, College Matches and Woman's Round-Robin.    

The Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center is located at 201 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL.  General and valet parking for the event is available in multiple lots surrounding the venue.  Signs will be posted starting on Atlantic Avenue.  If you have a parking pass, follow the color-coded signs that match your parking pass.  Gates open one hour before the session begins.  The Delray Beach Tennis Center is located near the heart of downtown Delray Beach and Atlantic Avenue where you can enjoy galleries, boutiques, and gourmet restaurants all within walking distance from the tennis center.  Delray Beach has many first rate restaurants for lunch or dinner and a  very lively nightlife if you want to live it up after evening sessions.  

The Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center has an on-site Hospitality Pavilion which will host the VIP Reception on Tuesday, February 18th.  The USTA Florida Kidz & Family Day is Sunday, February 16th and participants can enjoy tennis matches and games, art, crafts, and face painting.  The Ladies Days Luncheons, hosted by Lily Pulitzer, are Wednesday, February 19th and Thursday, February 20th.  The Game Set Pour pairing dinner featuring local restaurants and breweries is on Friday, February 21 - only 100 tickets available for this special event.  There are plenty of other food and beverage options available on site.  Stop by Raeburn Lounge to enjoy wine, champagne or Frose' cocktails in a relaxed social setting.  Shipyard Beer Garden debuts at this years' event and will have some of the best craft beers, hard seltzer and cider around.  Hang out with friends at Drop Shots Bar where you can enjoy beer, wine and mixed drinks.  Table-side service can be found at Mark's Bistro, the venue's on-site restaurant.  Additional food options include food court & carts where you will find Guaca Go, Subculture Coffee, That's Amore, and Bit-O-Gelato.  The signature cocktail of the Delray Beach Open is the DBO Smash.
