4th of July

Delray Beach is closing off the downtown to vehicular traffic for the Annual 4th of July festival.  East Atlantic Avenue will be shut down so parking west of the Intracoastal Bridge would be a sensible choice so you can leave when you are ready.  The downtown trolley will be in service to provide transportation to and from the Intracoastal Bridge.  The downtown Trolley is free for anyone in Delray Beach.  Please park west of the Intracoastal Bridge.  You can use the Downtown Trolley to get to the Intracoastal Bridge.  The streets will be closing at 1:30 PM for the event and will reopen at 11 PM.  The event is held on East Atlantic from the Intracoastal Bridge east to A1A from Thomas to Miramar.

As in past events there will be outdoor beer gardens set up for refreshment.  Food vendors will offer pizza, burgers, guacamole, tacos, hoagies, calzones, pierogies, soft drinks, water, ice cream, shaved ice, milkshakes.  Don't forget to bring a blanket and beach chairs so that you can set up your fireworks viewing location on the beach.

There will be an array of activities for everyone's enjoyment.  This years activities include Adrenaline Obstacle Course, Arts and Crafts, Bubble Wands, Face Painting, Giant Games, Graffiti Mural, Hula Hoop Games, Kids’ Zone, Putt'n Around, Selfie Board, Silverball Gaming Stations, Teen Activities, Uncle Sam Stilt Walkers, Wheels from the Heart Classic Car Show, and so much more!
