Meredith's passion for ocean front living drew her to South Florida. As a resident of Highland Beach she is a local expert on the A1A lifestyle. Here, she shares what she loves most about real estate and the South Florida lifestyle.

Why did you choose to become a real estate agent?

I moved from Long Beach, Long Island with my husband in 2015 and was excited for a career change.  Coming from the bustling NYC area I wanted the opportunity to be my own boss, make my own schedule and meet new people.  There is a great satisfaction achieved by helping clients make one of their biggest life decisions.

What do you love most about your job?

I love meeting new people and the satisfaction that comes from taking their hopes and wishes to help them find the perfect property for them. Every transaction is challenging in its own way. I enjoy each step of the process and take special care to make it as smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.

What are you most excited about regarding the local Delray Beach real estate market?

South Florida has many diverse property options.  More and more people are coming from all over the country to this area.  Historic low interest rates are bringing many new first-time home buyers to our wonderful town.

What is your favorite home you ever sold?

My favorite home I ever sold was on Swinton Avenue downtown Delray.  We found a great fixer upper with a large lot on a historic block.  I am anxiously awaiting to see all the hard work they put into the finished product.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

I love spending time with my friends and family.  Traveling and exploring new places, cooking, and attending local sporting events.

What is your favorite place in Delray Beach and why?

I love crossing over the Atlantic Beach Bridge on foot.  There is an amazing view while crossing over and you can hear the bustling of the cars, boats, and water below.

It's Friday night, and you want to go out for a night on the town. Where would you go?

City Oyster, great on any night with an extensive sushi menu, great staff, and great food.  And you can't forget the amazing oysters and clams.
