Meet Our Realtors: Pam Orzan

Posted by Jeremy Olsher on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 2:19pm.

Pam Orzan is originally from Cleveland, and she has called Delray Beach home for over 20 years. Pam has consistently won awards since starting her real estate career in 2000. Here, she shares what she loves most about real estate and the South Florida lifestyle.

Why did you choose to become a real estate agent?

My background was in the apparel industry. I was 28 and an assistant buyer for a women’s fashion catalog. I found myself inside all the time, and not happy with my career. My mom had her house on the market, and I went over for dinner. Her realtor was there. She was happy, social, and a lot like me. She convinced me to give it a try, and if I didn't like it, I could go back to my old career path...meanwhile 20 years later!

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most is that every day is different. I'm out in the sunshine, meeting new people.

What are you most excited about regarding the local real estate market?

I'm excited that more people are moving to South Florida more than ever. Appreciating what we have to offer.

What is your favorite home you ever sold?

My favorite home that I sold was a waterfront home where I represented the seller and the buyers. The house was great, so that helped, but the seller was a past customer of mine, and the buyers were so fun! I still hang out with them today! Everyone was so nice, and the sale went smoothly.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

When I'm not working, I love live rock shows. I love metal and hard rock!

What is your favorite place in Delray Beach and why?

My favorite place in Delray is the beach. I love that you can hang out at the beach, but then leave your stuff and walk over to Boston’s for a drink, or get pizza. It's a relaxing, but fun beach.

It's Friday night, and you want to go out for a night on the town. Where would you go?

On a Friday night, my favorites are The Locale in Boca and Johnnie Browns for live music.
