Savor the Avenue

Delray Beach is home to the much anticipated Savor the Avenue culinary event.  Last year there were 1,001 dining guests and many thousand spectators onlooking from the sidewalks and street.  The event raised $3,110 last year for Healthier Delray Beach and their campaign "Stock Our Schools" .  The Stock Our Schools campaign provides resources for classrooms that support social and emotional health of students.  This year's charity beneficiary is Community Greening.  Community Greening is a collective effort that works with local residents and organizations to improve the environment for people and nature by planting trees and transforming urban green spaces. 

Savor the Avenue, the much anticipated culinary event, is in it's twelfth year.  Savor the Avenue is on the calendar for Monday, March 23, 2020 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.  In the event of rain, the alternate date is Tuesday, March 24th.  Atlantic Avenue closes down for Savor the Avenue so that Florida's longest dining table can be set-up from Swinton to E Fifth Avenue   If you've never witnessed Savor the Avenue, the event is a four-course sit down dining experience smack dab in the middle of Atlantic Avenue set under the stars.      

The much anticipated 2020 Savor the Avenue line up includes the following restaurants:

Choose your favorite restaurant then call them to make your reservation as tickets are not sold online.  Reservations will be taken by each participating restaurants beginning February 1st.  Seating is limited so you'll want to choose your restaurant early and call to reserve seats.  Click here to view the menus.  

On Savor the Avenue event night, plan to arrive in downtown all did up in your best evening casual wear or dress in themed getup which complements your restaurant of choice's theme.  Seating begins at 6:15 pm so plan on coming a little early so you can get checked in with your restaurant and enjoy your complimentary welcome cocktail as you stroll along Atlantic Avenue viewing the beautifully decorated tables.  Patrons and spectators alike are certain to be filled with wonder gawking and gazing at Florida’s longest dining table with unique themed table settings placed under the stars in our beautiful Village by the Sea.  Be prepared with an appetite because each restaurant will be presenting a sumptuous four-course dinner paired with beverages.  The People's Choice Award will be determined by votes from patrons and spectators.  All you have to do is upload a picture of your favorite table setting on Facebook or Instragam and use #SavorPeoplesChoice and check in or tag the restaurant name.  Prepare to be amazed!
