As they say, "The show must go on" and that means rain or shine when it comes to outdoor events.  Sunfest 2019 was a real soaker for bands and fans alike.  Last years event was plagued with rain and inclement weather throughout the much anticipated four day concert event.  Opening acts were delayed on kick-off day and the odds were stacked against a successful closing night show due to severe weather.  Two of Sunday evenings line-up performers were Keith Urban and Tears for Fears.  Tears for Fears cancelled their performance at the last minute due to inclement weather disappointing their fans.  Tears for Fears let down their fans and on the other hand, Keith Urban jumped through hoops for his fans.  Keith Urban was late for his performance because his plane couldn't land at Palm Beach International and had to be rerouted to Miami International Airport.  Urban famously took a speeding Uber from Miami to West Palm Beach posting details about the treacherous trip on social media.  Hopefully we don't have a weather repeat of last year.

General admission starts at $40 for a one day pass valid on any one day, $65 for a 2 day pass valid for any 2 days, and $83 for a 4 day pass valid for all 4 days.  You can add on "The Stand"  to your ticket if you prefer to get even closer to your favorite performer.  You can also reserve parking in advance at one of the area garages.  VIP experiences can be purchased with admission as well. Children 5 and under are free. Click tickets to make your purchases.

SunFest offers some really cool things for the entire family.  Everyone is sure to find something to enjoy - three stages with live music, fireworks display, floating bars, eateries, shopping, and spaces to relax spread along the picturesque downtown waterfront.  View map to see where the stages, floating bars, eateries, info center, lost person, first aid, and bathroom locations are.

The Art District is a pop-up marketplace with approximately 70 artists, crafters and vendors hawking a variety of eclectic creations.  There will be live artist demonstrations and performances including world class graffiti artists painting gargantuan canvases.

The Art District is open Friday through Sunday during the following times:

  • Friday - 5 - 10 pm
  • Saturday - noon - 10 pm
  • Sunday - noon - 9 pm

Stick around for the spectacular display of fireworks on closing night.  The fireworks can be seen from anywhere at the venue but if you mosey on over to the sea wall you will have an unobstructed view of the night sky as well as the water.  I can't think of a better way to wrap up Florida's largest waterfront music and art festival.
