The Best Steakhouses in Palm Beach County

South Florida is known for many things, but possessing wide open cattle fields is not one of them. That doesn’t mean however, that Palm Beach County is not home to some top-notch steakhouses. If you can’t tell yourself when the last time was that you had a good steak, then this post is for you!
Palm Beach County has dozens of steakhouse offerings but when it comes to the overall dining experience and the quality of your meal, these are our favorite options (in no order of preference):
Okeechobee Steakhouse
Considered a Palm Beach County landmark by many, the Okeechobee Steakhouse was founded in its current location in 1947 and has built a tradition and reputation of being one of the first restaurants that comes to mind when people mention the word “steak”. Their menu is a steak lover’s dream, with countless cuts, not to mention some amazing sides. If it’s your actual birthday, you’re in luck, show proof and you will get a free steak! You’ll be so impressed with the quality, you will want to check out their meat market across the street to bring something home for the grill, which is one of the best in Florida. Meat Market
With multiple locations already booming in Florida including one in world famous Palm Beach, and another set to open in Boca Raton in the Spring of 2023, Meat Market continues to cement its place as one of the premier Steakhouse offerings in the area. The setting is a much more upscale, sexier take on the traditional steakhouse with luxury finishings, high ceilings in the main dining area, and a lively and beautiful setting perfect for date night or a corporate event. The menu at Meat Market sets out on offering an updated selection of cuts, and provides a wide variety of incredible options if anyone in your party isn’t in the mood for a great steak. The upscale decor is a great feature for the steak lover looking for a comfortable and cool vibe. For more information:
Flagler Steakhouse
The Flagler Steakhouse is set just outside the confines of the world renowned Breakers Resort in Palm Beach. This very traditional, yet glamorous take on the American steakhouse provides a dining setting accented by high ceilings, wood beams, and oversized chandeliers. The menu is highlighted by a savory selection of USDA Prime cuts and an impressive menu of sides and lighter options. Try to get a seat on the terrace overlooking the golf course and come early or stay late and enjoy a drink at the first-class bar space. For more information:

Abe and Louie’s
There’s not much to say about this classic American steakhouse – if you’re looking for elegant dining, a great cut of steak, and an award-wining wine list then look no further. Abe and Louie’s is located in central Boca Raton, and provides a first-class dining experience coupled with some of the best USDA Prime beef options on their meat-centric menu ranging from an 8 oz. Wagyu filet to a 50-Day Dry Aged 20 oz. Porterhouse. The vibe is a little quieter and old school, and the service is excellent. For more information:
Cut 432
Similar to Meat Market, Cut 432 took a modern approach in an effort to dispense the stereotypical stuffiness of the steakhouse vibe. Located on the hip strip of downtown Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach, Cut 432 delivers amazing service and presents a menu heavily anchored by cuts of beef made available via sourcing from some of the world’s top ranchers. You’ll enjoy the vibe, you’ll enjoy the food, and you’ll enjoy the libations – Cut 432 checks off all the boxes! It’s a small footprint, dark and loud inside the restaurant which also has outdoor seating directly on the Ave. Come for happy hour at the bar only (line starts out the door around 4:30pm for a 5:00 opening to snag one of the few seats available)
New York Prime
When the classic American Steakhouse and a modern vibrant atmosphere come together, you’ll be met with New York Prime, located in central Boca Raton, hidden around office buildings just North West of the Glades exit off I-95. Consistently ranked as one of the top area steakhouses for over 20 years, foodies flock to New York Prime for their USDA Prime-only menu and exclusive dining experience. Also included is their bustling bar scene, live music (piano player) every night, and food and service will impress in central Boca Raton. Go small with a petite cut or go big with the Tomahawk Ribeye, but no matter what choice you make you’ll leave full and happy every time you visit New York Prime. Reserve easily in advance online on open table. For more information:
We can’t promise you a reservation, but we can promise you incredible times and great food regardless of which option you choose! If you decide to visit one of these establishments, let us know your thoughts!
