With the start of the 2021-2022 academic year, the new Addison Mizner School in Boca Raton has opened its doors to students. Located on roughly 11-acres in the Boca Square neighborhood, the outdated school built in 1966 underwent a complete rebuild and expansion.

The original building and portable classrooms are gone, and there is now a modern two-story building in its place. To see what the new administration offices, classrooms, and other areas at Addison Mizner School look like, check out this video that the School District of Palm Beach County created.

In addition to a completely new look and feel, the school now hosts 500 more students, most of them middle school age. Grades 6-8 are being added to relieve overcrowding at Boca Raton Middle School. Sixth graders began attending the school at the beginning of this academic year, although they are spending the year on a temporary campus next to Don Estridge Middle School. Seventh and eighth grades will follow in 2022 and 2023.
