Waterfront Homes in Tropic Isle
Many of the residents in Tropic Isle enjoy waterfront lots with private docks and boat lifts. The majority of waterfront homes in Tropic Isle are located on canals, with those closer to the east having intracoastal views and direct intracoastal lots. Plus, the lack of any kind of homeowner's association (HOA) fees means the area remains an incredibly desirable area for those looking to live along the water. With private dock access, the nearest inlet is mere 15-20 minute journey by boat.
The majority of the properties are waterfront homes in Tropic Isle but there are a number of condominium and townhome developments that are located just off Florida Boulevard, Spanish Trail and Frederick Boulevard. These include Marinello Estates townhouses and the active adult community of Tropic Bay.
Tropic Isle Custom Homes
Many of these beautiful homes are situated directly along the Intracoastal (point lots), providing spectacular views. In recent years, many of the “old world” Florida-style homes in Tropic Isle have been torn down and replaced with modern custom-built mansions. With anywhere from two to six bedrooms, these custom homes feature luxurious upgrades including high ceilings, oversized windows, and spacious open floor plans. Residents also enjoy the protected waters of the canals with private docks and lifts on site.
Residents of Tropic Isle also get to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with large backyards, resort-style pools, tropical landscapes and shimmering views of the Intracoastal Waterway. For boaters, the nearest inlet is Boynton Beach to the north and Boca Raton to the south.
Tropic Isle is located just minutes from Delray's public beaches, Interstate 95 and the boutiques, restaurants and nightlife of downtown Delray Beach. Residents only need a short bike ride or stroll to make their way to the dynamic energy of Atlantic Avenue or visit the beautiful public beach off Linton Boulevard.
